Everyone has different values. Just because your opinion differs from theirs doesn't mean their opinion is dumb. I fail to see anything stupid in their comments. They are being asked to talk about what makes them feel beautiful, not to talk about particle physics for cripes sake! Give it a rest! Besides, being nice is far more important then being smart, and far more rare.
